What should a coaching app do? It should give your clients one place to learn, to talk to each other, and to meet you. Your lessons, in order. A private group. And live sessions on a calendar. Most coaches run this across separate tools. Lessons sit in a shared folder. Clients talk in a group chat, where good questions scroll away. Calls are booked by email. And nothing tells you which client has stopped showing up. Your clients keep a different login for each one, and the work is spread across all of them. Here is the same programme on one WordPress site. A client joins, works through the lessons, asks questions in the group, and meets you live. One login for all of it. This is a client. He opens his courses and sees how far he has got. One click takes him back to the lesson he stopped on. A short quiz checks that the lesson has landed. The programme has its own private group. When he is stuck, he asks there, and the answer helps the next client too. Your live session is an event. He registers with one click, and you can see who is coming before you start. This is the coach. Her dashboard shows what the programme has earned. And a list of every client, so nobody quietly drops out. New clients can read her profile, with ratings from the people she has taught. Some things are not for the group. A client can message you in private, on the same site. And a notification tells you the moment a client needs you. And it works like an app. Clients add your site to the home screen of their phone. It opens in its own window, with your site name under the icon. There is no app store to deal with, and nothing for you to build. You charge the way you coach. A monthly membership, a paid private group, or a course sold once. Payments go to your own payment account, by card or PayPal. You set the plans and the prices, and each course can carry a price of its own. Side by side. A login for every tool, or one login for everything. Questions lost in a chat, or answers the next client can find. No view of progress, or progress for every client. And clients spread over other companies' apps, or together on your own domain. A client who has to hunt for the next step often stops. Each week you run on scattered tools, that risk stays with you. BuddyNext is the free community plugin for WordPress.
