No. BuddyNext takes no platform cut. When you charge for access with BuddyNext Pro, the only fee is your payment processor's (e.g. Stripe). Mighty Networks adds a per-transaction platform fee on top of processor fees on every plan, which scales with how much you earn.
BuddyNext is a community engine, not an LMS, so courses come from your choice of WordPress LMS (LearnDash, Tutor LMS, and others) running alongside it. That is more setup than Mighty's native courses, but it means you pick the LMS that fits you and you are not locked into one platform's course tooling.
