In this tutorial you will put your own brand on the admin in BuddyNext. Your team, or your client, sees your name and logo in the WordPress admin, in place of BuddyNext. You need BuddyNext Pro. White-label is a Pro feature. It takes about two minutes. There are five steps. Open White-label. Set your name and logo. See it in the admin. See what members see. Then change it back. Step one. Open White-label. In the WordPress admin, open BuddyNext, Settings, then White-label. There are two settings. A Brand name, and a Logo. They change the WordPress admin and the emails. They do not change the site your members use. Step two. Set your name and logo. Type a Brand name, up to sixty characters. It takes the place of the name BuddyNext in the admin menu, on the Plugins screen, and in page titles. For the Logo, click Select logo and pick an image, or paste the address of one. It shows at the top of these admin screens, and at the top of the emails BuddyNext sends. Leave the Logo empty, and the logo from Settings, Appearance is used. Then click Save changes. Step three. See it in the admin. After saving, the BuddyNext row in the WordPress menu carries your name. On the Plugins screen, both plugins are listed under your name, and their descriptions use it too. Step four. See what members see. Sign in as a member. Nothing has changed here. The community keeps the logo and the look of your theme. White-label is for the people who manage the site. Members never see the admin name. Step five. Change it back. Open White-label again. To return to the BuddyNext name, empty the Brand name field. Then click Save changes. The menu, the Plugins screen and the page titles read BuddyNext again. That is all five. White-label opened, your name and logo set, the admin seen under your name, the member side checked, and the way back shown. Your admin now carries your own name. Next in this series: Find your way around the admin.
