In this tutorial you will see a space's numbers in BuddyNext: new members, people who left, net growth and posts, for the last 30 days. You need BuddyNext Pro, with the Analytics feature on. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. Let space owners see stats. Open the space admin page. Read the last 30 days. Then check who can see it. Step one. Let space owners see stats. In your WordPress admin, open BuddyNext, then Engagement, then Insights, and scroll to Analytics. This panel is part of BuddyNext Pro. The first line is Show space owners their stats. It is off until you tick it. While it is off, only site admins see analytics. Tick the box, and click Save changes beside it. Every space then gets a Last 30 days row on its admin page. Step two. Open the space admin page. On your site, open the space, and add the word admin to the end of its address. There is no button for this page on the space itself. The top row is there with or without Pro. Members, pending requests, and open reports. Step three. Read the last 30 days. Under that row is Last 30 days, with four numbers. New members is how many people joined. Left is how many left. Net growth is the difference, with a plus or a minus in front. Posts is how many posts were made in the space. A space with nothing to count shows one line, No activity in the last 30 days. Step four. Check who can see it. The owner of the space, its moderators, and site admins can open this page. Sign in as an ordinary member, try the same address, and you are turned away. A member of the space who is not its owner or a moderator sees this message. Someone outside the space is told they do not manage it. So the numbers stay with the people who run the space. To take them away again, untick the box on the Insights screen. That is all four. Stats turned on for space owners, the space admin page opened, the last 30 days read, and who can see it checked. The people who run each space can now see how it is doing.
