In this tutorial you will use the community leaderboard in BuddyNext. It ranks members by the points they have earned. You need BuddyNext, the free plugin, and the WB Gamification plugin, which keeps the points. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open the leaderboard. Read your standing. Change the period. Show more members. Then find yourself in the list. Step one. Open the leaderboard. Sign in as a member. In the side menu, click Leaderboard. The page lists the top contributors across the whole community, with the leader on the first row. Step two. Read your standing. Three tiles at the top are about you. The first is your rank for the period shown, here this month. Points is your total of all time. Level is the level those points have reached, with how many more you need for the next one. The bar underneath shows the same thing as a line. It fills as you move from one level to the next. Step three. Change the period. Three tabs sit above the list. All time, This month, and This week. The page opens on This month. Click This week, and the list is ranked by points earned since Monday. Click All time for the full record. The month starts again on the first, and the week every Monday. All time never resets. Step four. Show more members. The Show list on the right sets how many rows a page holds. Top ten, twenty five, fifty, or one hundred. Under the list, a line tells you which rows you are looking at, and Next opens the following page. The second page carries on from rank eleven. Top, beside Next, takes you back to the first page. Step five. Find yourself in the list. Your row is tinted and marked You. It shows your rank, your latest badges, and your points for the period. Every other row has a Follow button, so you can follow a member you see here. It acts the moment you click it. At the foot of the page are two cards. Your Badges, and Your Streak, with your current run of active days and your longest. That is all five. The leaderboard opened, your standing read, the period changed, more members shown, and your own row found. You now know where you stand, and who is setting the pace. Next in this series: Give kudos to a member.
